Advisory work, across the course of a decision.

Engagements are scoped to the question actually in front of the client. Most begin before a surgeon has been chosen. Some begin when a plan is already on the table and something about it does not sit right.

Aesthetic and cosmetic surgery.

Pre-decision assessment
The core engagement. A specialty-matched advisor examines what is being considered, its alternatives, and the evidence, and sets out the position in writing.
Review of a proposed plan
Where a surgeon has been consulted and a plan proposed, an independent reading of that plan and of the questions it leaves unanswered.
Practitioner and facility due diligence
Credentials, specialty relevance, regulatory history, and the arrangements a facility actually has for complications and for aftercare.
Second-opinion coordination
Identifying and arranging an appropriate second opinion, and preparing the client for that consultation so that it is worth having.
Family advisory
Acting for a family considering a relative's proposed procedure, with the boundaries of consent and confidentiality agreed before we begin.
Counsel through treatment
Continuing availability during treatment and recovery, for the questions that only arise once matters are underway.

Not yet offered

In development.

Longevity medicine, regenerative medicine, and related wellness medical services are the direction of travel. They are not yet offered, and this page will say so until they are.

The reason is the one that governs everything else here: we will not advise in a field until we have retired consultants from that field. A generalist opinion on regenerative medicine would be worth very little, and we would sooner offer nothing than that.

Where we work

London, and outward.

Colverston is based in London and works with clients across the United Kingdom. Where a client is considering treatment elsewhere in Europe we will say plainly whether we are able to assess it properly.

Coverage in other European countries is being built on the same basis as our specialty coverage: advisors first, then the offer.

Fees

Fixed, quoted in advance.

Engagements are quoted in writing before they begin, as a fixed fee for a defined scope. We do not work on commission, and there is nothing further to disclose about how we are paid, because there is nothing else.

Fees are discussed at the introductory conversation, once we understand what is being asked.
